Course Aim

The aim of the course is to provide course learners with the requisite WAH knowledge so that they can perform their WAH activities properly and safely. At the end of the course, the learners shall be able to:

  1. Identify relevant Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) legislations / approved codes of practice / Singapore standards applicable to WAH and roles and responsibilities
  2. Identify WAH hazards and preventive measures related to WAH
  3. Demonstrate the understanding of use and care for the various fall arrest systems and equipment

Target Audience

All workers, operators, line staff who are required to perform work at height activities. They are required to be trained and competent to ensure no injury and harm while performing work at height activities.

Assumed Skills & Knowledge

The Learner is recommended to have at least WSQ ESS Workplace Literacy and Numeracy Level 3 and above or equivalent. Basic knowledge workplace safety, processes, procedures, practices and activities.
